The wedding took place in this grand old restaurant .The Elkridge Furnace Inn .Charming ,wonderful rooms and by luck I was photographing a very handsome couple.
I have not done a fireplace shot for years.

This is a photo shoot with famous hair artist David Cohen.Its still a work in progress.As I am writing this I have not yet shown the photos to David, so they will probably be dramatically changed by the time I post them again in a few weeks.His staff of colorists,cutters, make-up etc. are among the best in DC and Maryland.Its always great fun shooting with them.

Omar called one afternoon.He found my number in the yellow pages.(first time in 10 years that I get a customer in that fashion).He had met a cutie and she was returning home to England and he wanted some great portraits of the two of them .Romantic guy.From our first talk on the phone I knew I would like him.I did. Fell in love with Hawa. What a sweetheart.They make a great couple.I wish them love.
Four Seasons Hotel, Washington,DC .

I made a small photo booklet from a party that my son ,Davide DePas photographed at the Four Seasons Hotel , in Washington, DC .My friend Kelly Jenkins of Capital Decor and Events made the ballroom enchanting. I photographed the dishes and Davide took the photos of the ballroom.On the train to New-York, I decided to create a photo book.The cover is my version of a Yankel Ginsburg imitation.A blending of photo ,acrylic, lithos, etc. a collage.My assistant Leila put the finishing touches in photo shop, and voila. a very cute album.
Kemble Park Tavern

This is my neighborhood restaurant .On McArthur boulevard, minutes from the studio is this charming oasis .Kemble Park Tavern has a chef-owner Jim Foss, who spend his mornings shopping in Farmer’s markets and cooks a modern-Southern- American cuisine.Delicious.

The photograph of this bride was taken as part of a photo shoot for Washington Life magazine.In the front entrance of the Blue Duck Tavern.One of DC ’s best restaurant With Brian McBride as the executive chef.The bridal dress was created for the photo shoot by very hot bridal fashion designer Alvin Thompson. I like this photograph, but I would have picked the next photo for publication.Scroll down and you will see what I mean.
